Matrix forests are Chestnut Oak / ericad (see GWNF.7 for example).;Bedrock ledges atop a steep SW aspect slope support a thin band of medium sized, stunted table mountain pine. Fire sign on killed pine snag, but none apparent on living trees. Snag may represent previous cohort. Overhanging boulders may provide habitat.
